NHS doctors commonly refer patients that suffer from certain chronic complaints for homeopathic treatment
A one-month study was carried out in 2007. It looked at a total of 1,602 patients who were seen at follow-up appointments in all five UK NHS homeopathic hospitals. The study found that currently NHS doctors are mostly referring patients to homeopathy for eczema. Other commonly treated complaints are chronic fatigue, menopausal disorder and osteoarthritis. 1
